Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County
Active Member since 2018
The Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County is a non-profit organization that promotes the highest possible standards of service, care, and well-being for older and disabled adults.
Since 2000, the Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County has grown to over 200 individuals who represent various organizations committed to providing exceptional services to seniors in our community. Our members enjoy monthly breakfasts, networking events, recognition events, promotional opportunities, employment opportunities and educational events.
Millennial Provider’s Network Active Member since 2020
Our goal is to elevate, inspire, and educate young senior healthcare professionals. Our vision is to provide professional support and to re-brand what it means to be millennials serving those 50 and better.
Senior Advisory Board Member Since 2023
The Senior Advisory Board serves as a liaison between the City Council and Puyallup’s senior community. It also assesses the recreation needs of seniors and suggests improvements to the operations of the Puyallup Activity Center facility.
The Senior Advisory Board is currently in the process of reviewing programs and activities to determine if these meet the needs of the senior community. Other goals include enhancing the marketing of the Puyallup Activity Center and updating a resource guide for seniors. The board has also expressed an interest in exploring the issue of affordable housing in our community.
